My design practice revolves around making
connections between people and the
self. How can I make connections between
people? I want to design in the public
realm pieces that connect us and others to
each other, to our histories, to our futures,
to our losses and to our wins.

Professional Summary
My experience in design involves working
for Bella Kitchens as a designer and as the
design co-ordinator. This role taught me
a lot about industry processes and standards.
I was able to understand how to use
my conceptual knowledge and ideas and
reflect them in a design in a functional and
effective manner.
Education
I have just completed my third year
of my bachelor’s degree in spatial design,
with the intention of starting my master’s
next year (2022).
Skills
As a spatial designer my strength is connecting to a site
and creating very considered and thoughtful design that
communicates an idea strongly and gracefully.
My key skills are positivity, communication, creativity,
problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration,
self-motivation and time management. Further, I have
a very strong work ethic as seen in my everyday life.
Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Rhino (CAD) Blender
and Revit.
Experience
Barista | Orra | March 2019 – Present
Run the café on a day-to-day basis, constantly multitasking
and dealing with customers. Working here I
learnt a lot about attention to detail, workflow, customer
service and increased responsibility.

2021 – Present
Worked in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry designs
individually and as a team. Also took over their social
media/marketing platforms in August.
Social Media Content Creator 2021
Created by business, Madi Wright Design, and began
contracting out to companies to design and run their
social media pages.
Student Representative - AUT Spatial - 2020-2021
I am the student rep for my Spatial Cohort. This involves
listening to voices and collating information and feedback
to pass on to lecturers etc.
I often lead group study and projects within my degree.
